Green Technology

The twenty-first century has seen a rapid proliferation in the development of green technologies. Continually finding new ways to implement these technologies is of paramount importance at American Yarn. As part of this commitment, American Yarn annually audits its systems and processes from an environmental perspective to ensure that our global footprint remains as small as possible.

Sustainable Product Solutions

Waste from plastic packaging presents one of the greatest environmental challenges facing the world today. Each year an estimated eight million metric tons makes its way to our oceans with this figure expected to double over the next two decades. On land, nearly 40 percent of all plastic packaging produced ends up as waste in landfills. To help mitigate this growing issue, American Yarn is proud to work with our customers and suppliers to bring new generations of products made from recycled packaging to market. Today, the environmentally friendly products that we help produce are being increasingly adopted by leading brands from a variety of industries such as automotive and consumer goods. As the market continues to expand, American Yarn will remain dedicated to playing our part in the supply chain to help ensure full-length manufacturing sustainability.
